Beverly Hills Baptist Church is reaching and nurturing our community with the love of Christ and equipping believers for ministry.
About Our Church
Beverly Hills Baptist Church began as a mission of Asheville First Baptist Church in 1950 and we were officially constituted as a church on July 18, 1954. We are cooperatively affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Buncombe Baptist Association.
On September 8, 1985, we moved into our new sanctuary at 777 Tunnel Road in Asheville, North Carolina. We dream of becoming a community-based ministry center meeting the needs of families and individuals. We are driven by the passion to see the church moving beyond our walls and into the lives of people.
Beverly Hills Baptist is made up of people who have responded to the challenge of mission and ministry in East Asheville. We seek to be an inclusive church, opening our doors and our hearts to people of all races, religious backgrounds, and family situations. We earnestly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through biblically based teaching and preaching, we present the simple but profound belief that Christ can make a difference in our lives, and that as His disciples, we can make a difference in our community and world. We warmly invite all persons to come and worship with us, to experience our fellowship, and to join us in serving Christ both here and around the world.
